Jyoti Deshpande, a leading Permaculture Consultant from Mumbai has a plethora of experience in Permaculture design. Besides being a commerce graduate from Mumbai University and having nearly two decades of experience in managing Business, she is formally trained to be a Permaculture Designer and a Consultant by renowned personalities including Rico Zook, Narsanna, Jeremiah Kidd, Steve McGrane, Clea Chandmal, Dwarkanath and Geoff Lawton.

On completion of her first Permaculture Design Certificate Course, she started learning by working in India and abroad by volunteering in farms and garden. Completing the Permaculture Teacher’s Training with Jude Hobbs and Rico Zook in 2017 has been a feather in her cap and an amazing learning experience for her.

Our Program

The 2 days workshop at Govardhan Ecovillage will guide the participants towards permaculture and permaculture design. The structure of the workshop is designed for the participants to know more about permaculture and explore its vast understanding. The workshop will be a combination of theory and practical thus allowing to bridge the gap between the two.

Who can attend?

Any person irrespective of age, occupation and background can benefit from this workshop. The primary aim of this workshop is to introduce a whole-systems approach to design regenerative landscapes. The workshop will aid those who wish to build their lands/farms/gardens by working hand in hand with nature.’
